Mental health is important here at MaCES. The school provides an array of support to our students.This includes a School Psychologist, Psychiatric Social Worker, and a School Climate Advocate. 

Mental Health Support Providers play an important role in students’ social and emotional well-being. The providers provide support for emotional or mental health issues such as eating disorders, depression, drug abuse, or self-harm behaviors. They are equipped for dealing with conflict resolution can help students navigate friction and disagreements with classmates, friends, family members, and even teachers.
 
They are also well informed about local services that provide resources for families in need. Whether food, shelter, money for school supplies, or other financial obligations, they can connect students and their families to the appropriate public assistance program.
